3 Topics I Will (Probably) Never Blog About

In the world of blogging, content is king. But like the old adage says, "To thine own self be true", and in that spirit, there are all kinds of topics I like to talk about: motherhood and my world being at the top of the list. But there are just some things I steer clear of, whether it's because I know little to nothing about it, because I keep some stuff sacred to phone calls with girlfriends or because it doesn't interest me. Here are 3 topics that you should never expect to see me discuss in this space.

Fashion

Let's be real. It's Winter, it's typically been a blessing to get above 50 degrees, and I'm a home body. Sweats are my uniform day in and day out. I love to read fashion blogs on occasion, but that just isn't my ministry, so don't count on seeing it here.

Politics

You know when you see a person who's fallen in a toilet and gotten stuck, knees at their chest, cold water on their butt? That's how I feel about political discussions these days. Just gross.

Let's all just agree that it's a complete mess and back away slowly.

Reality TV

I tried my best to watch "Real Housewives of Atlanta" and "Love and Hip Hop Wherever" at one point in life. I could literally feel the brain cells die. It's completely insufferable. Oh, but one person who's commentary I have to watch about reality TV is KendallKyndall. The laugh he supplies me with about the hair, lighting, conversations and fights is all I need from these franchises.

As interesting as these topics can be, it's just not my wheelhouse. That's why I love blogs; there's one for every topic you can think of.
