The Beautifully Normal-School Day
Mornings are fairly calm here in the Stallings household. After I get showered and dressed, I officially start my day at 5:30a by preparing lunch, brain dumping, and usually writing or editing. Jordan wakes up some time later and (not pictured) snuggles on the couch and watches cartoons until it's time to eat. Afterwards, it's time to get him dressed, brush his teeth, clean the jelly off his face and brush his hair.
When we leave home to take my husband to work and take Jordan to school, that's when the energy begins to really flow. There inevitably is something interesting that happens during our drive. The radio is semi blaring, I'm typically answering 101 questions about where we're going. Hubs and Jordan have their secret handshake before we head to school. The Assistant Director of his school was particularly surprised at how much he snuggled up to her when she got him out of the car. Probably because he woke up early. I understand, kid. I feel the same way haha
I hope you enjoyed this glimpse into my world! Have you ever documented considered it? What are some of your favorite parts of your everyday life? Let me know in the comments!
