On Your 4th Birthday

Today's your birthday! How are you already 4?!

You are more curious than ever, and you have the vocabulary to ask the questions. You LOVE wrestling; your favorite pastime is wrestling Daddy or your giant Care Bear. Your competitive streak is coming out, too. Everything is a race, and of course, you always win, even if it means starting a new race right then and declaring yourself the winner.

You aren't easily embarrassed, a trait I pray you never lose. You stumble or fall, and continue living your life. You're sometimes unfazed by trivialities like "listening" or " rules"; we're working on that. You just had a growth spurt that put you in the next clothing size up. Literally a big boy. You want to be a firefighter when you're "big and strong".

I think we've finally made it through the Terrible 3's, thank God. You draw people to you. You're magnetic. You're an angel, pure and true. You are going to accomplish great things in this world. You've made me and Daddy so happy, so strong, so tired haha and so willing to do anything to make you smile. You're a true gift. Happy 4th birthday, Jordy. I love you always.
