Educational App of the Week 3

Welcome back for another installment of Educational App of the Week! This week, we'll take a look at "Little Writer".

Little Writer helps teach children how to write their uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and shapes. There's even an option to spell out words! The way they teach writing is by using a letter/number/shape big enough to fit almost the entire screen. Wherever the child is supposed to begin writing, there is an animal, and the path you follow to write the letter/number/shape is filled in with the food that animal eats (a giraffe and apples for example), and the idea is to drag the animal to it's food in the correct order, thus writing out the letter or number, or drawing the shape. It's a clever idea and it's simple enough for kids to do without much help.
