Educational App of the Week 2

This week's app is one of my favorites. I discovered this on a whim while looking through Apple's app store for educational apps that would help teach Jordan his sight words. Flashcards weren't as effective as I would've liked, so I was searching for something to help engage him more.  That's when I discovered "Endless Reader".

This is the only app I've EVER paid over $1.99 for. Endless Reader is an app that teaches letter sounds, word sounds, spelling, all with cute little monsters who, after spelling the word and putting together a sentence using the word, act out the sentence followed by a voice reading the sentence aloud. It's amazing! I've recommended Endless Reader to every parent I know and even to total strangers who saw how well Jordan recognized words. The 1st level is free, but after seeing the impact it had on Jordan's word recognition, there was no way I wasn't going to purchase the more advanced levels. And because they constantly add new levels with new words (for different costs), he'll be able to use this app potentially for years to come. Best. Purchase. EVER.

I can't say enough good things about Endless Reader. I absolutely love it!

What are some apps your kids love to play with? Let me know in the comments.

Talk to you soon!
